CoQ10: What Is It?

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) exists in every cell in the body, and creates energy within cells, operating from the literal powerhouse of the cell, the mitochondria, to generate this energy. CoQ10 is what charges the cells up so that they can produce the energy needed to run the body. It is also an antioxidant, meaning that it helps the cell protect itself against illness, and thereby enhances health.

The body naturally produces its own CoQ10, but stress, trauma, aging and other factors inhibit the body's ability to produce enough CoQ10. CoQ10 also works synergistically with other vitamins and minerals, enhancing the body's ability to utilize them. CoQ10 is the spark that ignites the energy of each and every cell in the body. By supplementing your horse with CoQ10, you are improving your horse's health and athletic ability on a cell by cell basis - this is the most basic foundation of health and soundness.

If every cell is healthy and functioning at its highest level, then so is your horse.

“After being injured in July, 2013, Top Torero's infection became so severe that we had to consider putting him down. But we made a commitment to him, and in November of that year, we started giving him Wire-2-Wire, which he took for about three months when he returned to training. His first start was February 9, 2014, at Los Alamitos, and he won. Wire-2-Wire was instrumental in this comeback.”
